As Mexico is an Upper middle income country, it does not receive a lot of support from international NGOs, we do but rehabilitations services as mostly provided in the public and privare sector, and mostly lead by an NGO regarding pediatric rehabilitation services.
There is no coverage at all for assistive products, some spectacles might be subsidized but it depends on the state entity and the employment status of the person.Mexico has not employed any of the tools of the WHO Rehab 2030.

Kenya has scanty NGOs that support programs on rehabilitation and disability. A few of the current NGOs implementing a rehabilitation program in Kenya include the clinton health access initiative (CHAI). This NGO support access to rehabilitation and assistive technology. The Association of physically disabled of Kenya (APDK), support rehabilitation outreaches and assistive technology as well.
Kenya at times uses the WHO guide to action.
I work in rehabilitation space and have come across many persons with disabilities. Their experience in accessing health care services and rehabilitation has been somehow challenging due to various barriers, such as, communication barrier, physical barrier and stigma and discrimination

I think, Mongolia’s rehab situation is getting better step by step. We need to have one voice and support and push Ministries to develop this field.

In Uganda, several NGOs are working to meet the rehabilitation needs of the population in Uganda, and the government has made efforts to implement the WHO Guide to Action on NCD prevention and management. However, significant challenges remain in ensuring equitable access to high-quality rehabilitation services for all individuals with disabilities and chronic diseases in Uganda. It is critical that NGOs, government agencies, and other stakeholders continue to work together to address these challenges and improve access to rehabilitation services for all.

Much as there are many NGOs providing rehabilitation in Uganda, the coverage and accessibility of these services remain low due to scarcity. The government needs to improve the integration of rehabilitation into the health sector to effectively and efficiently meet population needs.

Several non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are actively working in Vietnam to address the rehabilitation needs of the population: Handicap International; International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC); Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (VVAF); Catholic Relief Services (CRS); CBM (Christian Blind Mission)
Vietnam is aligning its national policies with the WHO’s Rehabilitation 2030 initiative, which emphasizes the importance of integrating rehabilitation into the health system at all levels of care. -

I’d like to reflect on the significant role of NGOs in Tanzania. These organizations provide crucial services, yet there are still considerable challenges in accessing quality healthcare and assistive technologies due to resource limitations and socio-economic barriers. It’s encouraging to see the government aligning with the WHO Guide to Action, but many individuals continue to face obstacles in navigating the healthcare system.
