According to WHO report, more than 1.4 million people are living with HIV and of those 5.8% have diabetes. Diabetes is common among people living with HIV and the Overall None Communicable Diseases account for 36% annual death in Uganda
People living with Disability are approximately 4.5 million in number and these include various categories such as those with Physical disabilities, Sensory disabilities, Psychological and Intellectual disabilities.
On the other hand, the incidence of road safety injuries in Uganda according to report from Uganda Police Force, more than 10 lives are lost due to road crashes on a a daily. For example, in a year 2021. Uganda Police Force reported that 4,159 road crash fatalities and 12,589 serious injuries.
