Uganda can build strong leadership and increase political support for rehabilitation by establishing dedicated government bodies to oversee rehabilitation initiatives, integrating rehabilitation into national health policies, and securing funding. Enhancing public awareness through education campaigns and involving stakeholders like NGOs, healthcare professionals, and community leaders can also drive support. More so, fostering partnerships with international organizations and leveraging data to demonstrate the impact of rehabilitation services can further galvanize political and public backing.
