In Uganda , rehabilitation services are already being offered at national, sub national and regional level, there is some leadership at the ministry of health though there is need to strengthen it by recruiting more rehabilitation staff to help push for the rehabilitation agenda, at the sub national and regional level, there is still need to build the capacity of the rehabilitation professionals to take lead in creating awareness about torture. Government should also increase the training of the rehabilitation professionals.
There is need to interest the political leaders through constant engagement on the need and benefit of rehabilitation and need to integrated in the health systems.
