In the scenario, as a new mayor of Nakawa, Uganda. Looking at the increasing rate of stroke in that particular area, the following should be looked at;
– socio-economic factors
– Geographical location
– Health status
With this information, research is conducted, past information (data) about the vicinity collected, this can be got from;
– Individuals households through Village Health Teams
– facilities in the catchment area
– parish, Sub county, and district data base for accuracy.
We can also look at how the situation was managed in the past, why and how they failed, in order to fill the gaps leading to the increasing rate of stroke thus effective decision making , resource planning and allocation.
