I have learned that though Tanzania has taken steps towards creating those laws and policies in order to protect right of people with disability, the challenge exist in putting these laws into tangible improvement in real life of people with disability.
While there are provision for accessibility in the laws and policies, implementation remain inconsistent as infrastructures, transportation and communication often lack necessary accommodation for people with disability. Changes should be done regarding implementation of the laws and policies of people with disability. As;
There is need to intensify the implementation of accessibility and inclusivity in policies and practices to ensure meaningful inclusion.
Also awareness campaign to ensure compliance with disability laws and policies should be done from ward to regional level.
