In Iganga District, Physiotherapy services are provided as soon as the patient enters the hospital through outpatient clinic. The patients are screened and assessed for rehabilitation needs and immediately they qualify for rehabilitation care is given ,physiotherapy, psychotherapy, orthopedic and physiological services are are all provided in the district hospital. In Mayuge mental health services and orthopedic services are all provided there, to enable patients get back to their normal function. So far three patients in Mayuge have testified to have gained great improvement as a result of rehabilitation services.
