As of 2021, it is estimated that around 10% of the population in Tanzania live with some form of disability. However, due to limited data collection and reporting mechanisms, the exact number of people living with disabilities in Tanzania may be higher.

Regarding chronic health conditions, there is no specific figure available for the total number of people living with chronic health conditions in Tanzania. However, common chronic health conditions in Tanzania include HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, diabetes, and hypertension.

In terms of road safety injuries, Tanzania faces significant challenges in this area. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Tanzania has a high incidence of road traffic injuries, with an estimated 3,500 people dying from road traffic crashes each year. The incidence of road traffic injuries is also compounded by factors such as inadequate infrastructure, lack of enforcement of traffic laws, and limited access to emergency medical care.
