My life as a personal and professional has exposed me to different perspectives about disability.
I grew up and used to see my father living with polio and he managed to study and become an accountant in the 1990s.
During this time, the Moral Model was more predominant than today. Despite all the challenges and discrimination he faced. It made me believe that; disability is not inability.
My early career work made me walk around different streets and see people with disability begging for money and different people identified them as individual problems and pitiable victims.
